Hot day for a Grand Final for sure. Conditions will favour the Lions. Well they should at least.
I've decided I can't handle the Collingwood love fest anymore, the Daicos and Moore palaver, the blacknwhite army bull *smile*!

As bad as the ticketing allocations for the grand final are (and I agree, it's certainly not enough for members), it's a tiresome narrative having the media and people whinge year after year about the lack of tickets available to members.
How people continue to be surprised is the surprising part of it all. Do they live under a rock?
It's absolutely nothing new, but each news outlet runs the same stories year after year on the very same topic as people cry foul at the 'startling' revelation of not every member getting the opportunity to go.

Just saw on the news that priority members (37 of them) and some other 700 didn’t tick ‘standing room only’ in the process and they didn’t get them?! I wouldn’t tick that either.
Now the Pies are leaning on the AFL to find tickets that they’ve reserved for sponsors and others. What a farce.

Carltoon second half run was the highlight.

But is it a guaranteed GF seat or just a guaranteed entry ticket?
Had to laugh at the Colonwood spud on last nights news bleating that his shitful seat was way back in the nose bleed seats not down in premium on the wing.
Unless your in some sort of premium corporate or coterie package the tickets for pleb GF guarantee members are purely a random allocation basis. You get allocated a spot and a price for that spot, take it or leave it.
Ya don't tick standing room, there's a good chance ya miss out completely. Pretty sure the priority guarantee is for a ticket of some sort only. Some get decent seats at about $400 a seat, some get crap seats at about $200 a seat n some get sore legs at about $120. Cross your fingers n hope is about all ya can do, or go to the pub instead.
Due to Centrelink suffering issues there were insufficient funds in the account to process the gf ticket for the majority of those who missed out.
