Stupid band/song selection for a huge arena. Nothing fun, visual, theatrical about it.
It’s just a matter of priorities for me. The trouble with talls is they’re generally a low value prospect in terms of cost vs reward, which makes them a moneyball risk IMO, and exploiting advantages within equalisation limitations is important.
At half time of the 2023 Grand Final, only 1 tall forward has taken a mark to kick a goal, whereas 16 goals have been kicked due of modern priorities.
But hey, I’d sure love another Jack, and the game will continue to evolve, so I’m always open-minded
