They are giving the Lions as big a leg up as they can. Less time for recovering Richmond players and less Richmond supporters in the crowd. Absolute *smile*.
Not sure if anyone bothered to read my previous post but Saturday night in Brisvegas is booked out for their annual river festival. Not ideal to be playing an AFL final with *smile* fireworks popping off for an hour!What a *smile* disgrace is the AFL. The Thursday night game should be Scumwood and Geelong. At least both groups of supporters have a good chance of making the game. They know it is harder for fans of Melbourne teams to get to an interstate Thursday game. But they don't give a *smile*. They are just *smile* Richmond over and giving the darling Lions a leg up. Not to mention less tome for Lynch to get up from his groin injury.
I was gonna go if it was Friday or Saturday. Get *smile* AFL you bunch of cheating *smile*
They had no choice but to schedule it for Thursday night.
River Festival
In the middle of AFL finals. What a *smile* joke. Biggest sport in Australia and they compromise the participation because of a *smile* festival. The AFL should move the final to the MCG. Brisbane is a *smile* backwater.
It’s no good. They know it means 2 days out of work for Richmond fans from Victoria therefore meaning fewer fans there.
They could’ve selected Friday night, Sunday or even Saturday afternoon.
They’ve done this on purpose.
Yeah of course. It is just as easy for the tens of thousands of Richmond supporters to arrange flights, accommodation, tickets, time off work to travel etc etc for a Thursday night game as it is for Brisbane supporters to just roll in after work on a Thursday. Give me a break.
You don't think we would have more supporters be able to get to the game on a Saturday or even a Friday night?
Okay makes sense. The Swans are the love child of the AFL. I'm sure they would have afforded the same luxury to a Richmond player..............
And flight prices through the roof.

Sorry. Misunderstood your post and you are no doubt referring to the amount of time between games, I was referring to recovery for injured players like Dusty and Lynch. Another day or two could make a lot of difference.
But my biggest issue is the extra difficulty for Richmond supporters to get to the game.
