What I can't believe is they're still producing stuff on DVD. What is this, the 90's? We're heading towards 8k TV's now, sport is being shown in HD already. Surely they can at least give us a blu-ray season pack with a 4k grand final?

I also need to have my, now annual, vent on this matter.
Bluray has been out for over 15 years yet they still wheel out this absolute crap DVD quality Finals/Season Packs.
DVD looked & sounded poor on on tube tvs but they got away with it for a while coz we didn't know any better.
DVD on a half decent system is akin to going to the MCG & watching the Pies play the Blues.
It's a mediocre standard to watch & absolutely offensive to listen to!

Once again I'll be buying only the GF on Bluray and illegally downloading the rest of the Finals in 720p.
More than happy to pay top dollar if one of the idiots in AFL house could get with the times.
Meanwhile let's all hold our breath for an 8k Boxset Dynasty addition with our 6 flags in 7 years followed by ESPN 30 for 30 series in 2023.

It's a mediocre standard to watch & absolutely offensive to listen to!

It's possible to get acceptable sound onto a DVD. Many music videos have a bit rate of 1536kbps; I even have one with 24-bit audio. It's the ones at mediocre mp3 standard (224kbps) that stick out for the wrong reasons. Generally speaking, audio quality is viewed as less important with spoken content like sport DVDs, so we get the 192kbps of the Beyond 2017/19 DVDs.

Am OK with sacrificing audio quality for video when it comes to footy DVDs, but last year they didn't go close to filling the discs. (I wrote to Beyond to query it and didn't get a response.) Maybe that's why there's been a change to Shock.

Yep, did a double take when i saw them, thought they had the 2020 but def the 2019 version. In the display with all the New Era caps on the left wall of the store when you walk in.
Im going back on Friday to pick up my kids' 2020 members scarves, so ill check again, might get myself one to complete the set!

Much better designs out there than the official merch IMO

I was gong to buy a babies premiership bib for my 6 month old nephew, whose dad is a mad Eagle, but $29.95 sounds pretty steep.

Not when the future investment is committing another Tiger cub to the cause instead of an Eaglet, not to mentions daddies melts.
