Our skills not like previous finals matches. Curse of Etihad?
Ports transition often from back to F50 with their run has cut us open but our defence has held firm.
our delivery going forward hasn't been good.

Shai Bolton, Corey Ellis and Oleg Markov are monties for next year. Big careers for all of them.
At game & we're awful forward of centre. Chol hopeless - waste of rookie spot. No improvement at all.
Griffiths equally disappointing - flying one handed for marks; caught behind and gives away soft pushing free kicks instead of fighting for front spot & seems more worried about body contact from opponent rather than watching the ball & attacking it. Not sure this can be coached out of him now. So disappointing.
Bolton on the other hand will be a star. Has to play from Rd 1 next year. Markov, Menadue & Short all good. Ellis is classy but needs to be harder given he hasn't got great leg speed to be an outside player. Moore looks to have improved too.

Agree re Griff and Chol. Nothing there.
Other than Bolton,no one looks AfL standard. Game looks like last years AFL play.

FL is our weakness. Not doing much with F50 entries. Griffiths can't hold a mark, Chol cannot get it or convert. Moore trying. Stengle covered, Shai great but faded out.
Port really good team; play an AFL style game.
Does anyone think that playing this GF at the Dump has broken the footy atmosphere we saw at suburban grounds in previous VFL games?
