Thought people joined to support the team.

Mappa said:Sure did.
It's her club, just like its your club and my club, what's the big deal?
Some do but they are denied the opportunity through the manipulation of the election process in favour of the dinosaur incumbents. Peggy says she is in favour of fresh blood on the board but does nothing to ensure a fair and proper election.TT33 said:How many of the people who are so critical of those in charge of the club, are prepared to get off their backside & do something positive to help. Not very many, it's far easier as a keyboard warrior to sit back & criticise.
TT33 said:Imo when Peggy said "my club" that was the context she meant. Personally I was happy to hear her say that. It showed she loves the club & was in the job for the right reasons. Not for the "glory" of being an AFL club president, but because she believes that she can contribute to the organisation as a whole.

RedanTiger said:Do you really think that Peggy O'Neal would have been inducted as one of the first female members (along with an Olympian) of the Carbine Club if she had not been the first AFL club President.
Certainly a high degree of "glory" in that membership and it stems directly from her AFL association.

Collingwood's numbers are opaque - is there a leader board somewhere?
Superb effort by all involved after last years abysmal on field season. Goes to show most put there loyalty to the club first , rather then there self absorbed opinions on how and who should run the club.tommystigers said:As at July 11 2017

Can almost stick a fork in it for the year.
I don't think my comments are ordinary Giardiasis , I don't disagree that members should be able toGiardiasis said:Pretty ordinary comment CC, members are well within their rights to question the administrators of the club. I for one didn't drop my membership but I did downgrade it.
