Yeah knew he wasn't in your priorities being a "small forward" but for me it was a no brainer to get another matchwinner into the squad and to help Pavlich and Medhurst. Three solid options in a forward line is very hard to stop.

Must admit, have a list of 20 and all could have been selected at this pick with due reason. Matchwinners are hard to get though, especcially this far down.

Can't believe a guy who kicked 57 goals and at one stage through last season was pretty much unstoppable could last this long.  In a forward line with Pavlich (67 goals), Medhurst (50 goals) and now Motlop (57 goals) the team possesses plenty of attacking options.

He was my next pick. But I do other options.

I reckon it is more that he is their only key forward, at 184cm.
Tredrea has well & truly had it. And they have little else as key forwards.
But generally Port are very good ball gatherers & carriers.

Did you just read that Rob Warnock is now out for 2 months?

Don;t worry, one of the underlying tenents of this comp is that injuries are put to one side for the purpose of drafting your team - hence why Egan was agood get that we all overlooked perhaps......
 
We ran out of rounds now on the original list so I am going to add them in a round at a time as we need them.

Tannerz has until 1.04pm PRE time then onto Col "I watch too many war movies" Kurtz. ;D

It does, Kurtyz has till 3.04pm to post. Then Tannerz till 5.04pm. Looks like this is going to be a slow day :p
 
Hows the draft going.

Has everyone decided who will get 2nd yet. Are you all in awe of the Bono Edge Tigers yet.

Draft has slowed down after yesterday's cracking pace.

:hihi Second to you mate? We'll see, still a lot of water to go under the bridge yet mate.

Matt Maguire - St Kilda Football Club

Need a CHB and found one of the best albeit with a few injury concerns. At his best is terrific and happy to grab him this late!

Yes as I said earlier, have a list of 20 and was able to nab my top 2 which is pleasing.

The team is starting to take shape and as you say, still a lot of talent left.
