2005 Player of the year

Re: Player of the year Round 18 v Carlton

Hardest week this season to award votes.
A worse game than the Adelaide game.
I refuse to give votes to Simmonds and Bowden because of their horrible errors.

3 Tambling (just for showing me SOMETHING. His kicking errors can be excused)
2 Moore (as above)
1 Hilton (ran all day and left his man to cover others opponents)

Re: Player of the year Round 18 v Carlton

3 Richo...The only bloke who actually earned their money.
2 Tambling..showed good signes and the loose surface didn't help him
1 Moore...should have kicked 4 led and marked well.

Hon mention to me for staying to the end.

Re: Player of the year Round 18 v Carlton

3 - Bowden (by the length of the Flemington straight)

2 - Deledio (one of the few who looked dangerous and took them on)

1 - Hartigan (gave us burst and run from the backline. Need him in the team)

Unlucky: Moore (looks good, must keep him in), Hilton, Hyde & Graham.

- 3 Cogs (his chronic injury must be getting worse or has fallen very badly)

- 2 Johnson (most overrated player in the comp.)

- 1 Simmonds (disaster signing him for 5 years)

Re: Player of the year Round 18 v Carlton

3 Tuck

2 Delidio

1 Tambling

Moore deserves commendation for his effort.Hard to offer any other positives....At least Fox had the NRL Tigers replay on at the same time which helped get me through the 1st half....

Re: Player of the year Round 18 v Carlton

3 votes - Pettifer - actually put in a bit and got the ball. Had a couple of tackles even

2 votes - Hilton - looks better suited at half back than full forward

1 votes - Joel - he's still class. In the centre for the last ball up, got the ball and kicked it long. The only one we got that clean all day. PUT HIM IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GROUND.

Re: Player of the year Round 18 v Carlton

1 hilton
2 lids
3 tuck

perhaps this rounds votes should be halved when adding to the rest

Re: Player of the year Round 18 v Carlton

On a very dark and sad day,

3. Moore
2. Simmo
1. Tambling

All for effort rather than results .... :-[

Re: Player of the year Round 18 v Carlton

3 - Kayne Pettifer (thought it was one of his better games for the season, made a couple of mistakes early, got dragged but came back on and was back to his early season efforts where he provided a target leading up to the wings again)

2 - Richard Tambling (encouragement award more than anything, looked to be finding his feet and 18 touches was a good effort)

1 - Brent Hartigan (encouraging return, like his run from half back and his willingness to take some risks and take people on)

Also showed something - Kelvin Moore, Brett Deledio.
