Umpire farce - Getting worse by the minute!

True.
I have worked out that that it is 171 matches of which we lost 63 and drew 4. I figure that by the end of the process there will only be about 10 of those 67 games we didn't win that we legitimately deserved to, the rest will be because of the umpiring (and the ARC)
Of course the schooners will assist in coming up with that conclusion.

I’m also amazed at how we obviously behave much better during finals. If someone can be bothered to look at the frees for and against 2017-2020 finals the differential wouldN’t mirror the H&W session. We all know umps umpire finals differently…

I like the idea of counting frees, I think if we restricted it to the umpire officiating the free kick it would be quite revealing. I would go through a few games to find this out.

It will be different umpires umpiring I'm almost certain.
We've got screwed in Round 1 of finals vs Brisbane that we lost in 2020. Round 1 still has more muppet umpires and less of the good ones.
