Nope. Because it didn't load at all!
You apparently have to make sure it's 90x90 or less otherwise it
doesn't work.
(Edit) Whoops, sorry, that's 90x90 for avatars, I can't remember the
size that it ended up with for images within posts.
Still, it just didn't load for me at all.

It's 50 X 50 px and apparently only 13kb when I check it's properties after right-clicking it.

Hmm, interesting. I'd put down to a crap network connection for me to
whereever the image lives.
By the way - I reckon the best 'Cat' episode was the one where he was

There's nothing in the script to prevent animated avatars working but in an effort to save bandwidth usage and problems with our hosts, and also because they cause problems for some people with slow computers, we've requested people don't use animated avatars anyway.
