What are PREnders reading?
Do you read more than 1 book at a time? (I know lots of people who do!)
I'm reading "The Two Towers",
"Monday Mourning" by Kathy Reichs (picked it up for a song at the sales) and
"A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson

Re: What Is Everyone Reading At the Moment?

I'm guilty of having a few on the go at the moment.

Carlos Castaneda-The teachings of Don Juan-A Yaqui way of knowledge  I've got the 6th book-I think-in the series and decided to re-read all of the others first before reading it.

Jeffrey Archer-Sons of Fortune (Chrissie present)

Paullina Simons-The Girl In Times Square.  I love her books but have had this on the go for yonks and can't really get into it. I guess half a page a day doesn't help.

Re: What Is Everyone Reading At the Moment?

Raymond Chandler, 'The lady in the lake'

THE original and best of crime fiction, Phillip Marlowe, what a cool bloke

Re: What Is Everyone Reading At the Moment?

I'm currently on the 3th ;) book of the Tomorrow Series by John Marsden. Action packed! That guy has been writing for teens for many years now and he's never lost touch.

I still can't wait to read the most recent Chaser Annual and Vernon God Little by DBC Pierre. And maybe that book about the guy who had his hand taken off by a rock and he ct it with his pocket knife and lived.

Re: What Is Everyone Reading At the Moment?

Apart from this website, I'm trying to get my head around Microsoft Server 2003 and Exchange Server 2003.
My wife is trying to entice me into reading the Da Vinci Code but frankly I'm finding it difficult time wise.

Re: What Is Everyone Reading At the Moment?

Loved the "Tomorrow" series!
Gave up on the Da Vinci Code 3/4 of the way through.

Guilty, Your Honor!

Between watching the cricket, perusing PRE, proof-reading a manuscript and tending the vegie patch, I am currently reading:

Back on the Wool Track, Michelle Grattan;

The Power of Gold, Peter L. Bernstein;

Sometimes I Forgot to Laugh, Peter Roebuck.

All three are the type of books that can be opened at random and read.   :D

Re: What Is Everyone Reading At the Moment?

A friend of mine believes that most Aquarians tend to read more than one book at a time. I am, and I do.

Although I don't really go in for Astrology.

Discuss.

Re: What Is Everyone Reading At the Moment?

I'm not and I do. I try not to though but sometimes I just can't resist.

Re: What Is Everyone Reading At the Moment?

Clay, I am an Aquarian and only ever read 1 book at time. At the moment it's Memoirs of a Geisha - Arthur Golden. I've just started it and it's o.k.
I constantly carry a dictionary of quotes in my bag - does this count as a second book?

Discuss.

Thank-You.

Re: What Is Everyone Reading At the Moment?

I loved Memoirs of Geisha.
