Clarke rates Hayes so don't be surprised if we call his name.

Saw some GPS data for Hayes. Terrible for a ruck.

Huge stay away for me.

Yeah I remember people saying that when we missed out on Jy Simpkin.

Academy rights kick in this year. We can match any bid for an academy player the same as it works for f/s

Could our apparent interest in Hayes be a smokescreen? i recall this time last yr everyone had us linked with Himmelberg & we didn't pick him in the end.

Has anyone got any information on Ben Miller.

Tested well at the combine but haven't seen anyone talking him up. 4th in the 20m sprint 2.91 and equal first in the agility test at 8.1

196cm 98kg

I'm curious about him too. Apparently his kicking is excellent (at least from the draft camp tests).

FWIW, 2017 draft prospect Will Sutherland, who chose cricket ahead of footy, "is expected to be unavailable for an extended period after scans revealed he has a stress fracture in his back". Not a good sign for him I would have thought.

I thought he had a very good year coming in to the VFL as a ruck forward from country WA and being sent down back to get started. His kicking is very good and he seems to know when he has the time to make the next contest and can leave his man to create a 2 on 1 further up the ground. Worked well with Garth across the backline, Still pretty skinny maybe more size next year will increase his marking opportunities. One to watch.

Miller has had 1 year full time in an elite training environment. Needs a couple more to get the body right and get the top level fitness levels.
