Yeah I love to kick poowood when they are down it gives me great pleasure.

BUT when sides are down for a while we tend to forget about them a bit. and for that reason and trying to be realistic my passionate hate for Carlton says give the bluebaggers another one while they've got the chance.

Dont worry guys, if they are purposely positioning themselves for the draft and they get it wrong then they are in for a few years of pain and anguish like us.

Then we will see the real pie supporters shine when it comes to unleash the ferals. Not to mention boardroom upheavals and coach sackings.

Lets not forget, they can make humungous mistakes when recruiting as well, Steve Mckie remember?..

Oops i forgot to mention the other side of the coin is looking pretty good too..if they actually get it right they will again be in a position to get it wrong come September....so as you can see we are not the only supporters suffering the anguish...the only difference is with the Pies their brains trust hide behind a different type of failure screen that is somewhat padded.

I'd rather the Mugpies finish 9th instead of 16th because the wooden spoon means nothing now days.

Clubs gain more by finishing lower, rather than suffering by finishing in the middle where you achieve absolutely nothing (especially just missing out of the finals like Richmond have)

The best possible result would be for the Pies to finish stone motherless last and then get done for breaching the salary cap and lose their no 1 and priority pick, which would then be scooped up by the Tigers in 15th position.
