I follow the Holland in the soccer, but think France will make it back to back European cups.

Cant wait for the European cup to begin. Many long nights coming up.

I think Holland will make it to the semis. Yes, I know they are not in the greatest form at the moment, but they will lift to the occassion.

Yeah it is a great spectable. This is the first time in 10 years my two teams (Greece/Italy) have been in the same tournament.

I actually think Italy will do well but will struggle for the fact that Trappatoni is an absolute clown. How he didnt get sacked immediately following Japan 02 I will never know.

The Greeks, well we are underdogs but we are a slight sniff...I mean portugal, Russia and Spain, its acheivable.

I expect the Poms to have a good showing IF ONE STRIKER stands up.

Probably France unless the pressure gets to them like at the last World Cup. Hopefully then the Poms will pummel them ;D. But I don't like the chances of that happening :(

More importantly though I am in the fantasyleague.com site trying to work out a dream team for the tournament. Any ideas that will put me ahead of the pack???

fantasy football comp for Euro 04, try this site
http://sportinglife.fantasyeurofootball.com/

it's free.

another good fantasy comp is http://premierleague.fantasyleague.com/

only condition is you can only pick a max of 2 players from a country.

Greece played excellently to beat Portugal 2-1 and cause an upset.

Big game on early tommorrow morning, France v England.

I'd like to see England win, but think France will win 3-1

David Beckham costs England once again.

Yes, with England leading 1 - nil, Beckhams penalty is saved by Barthez.

England leading 1 - Nil at the 90 minute mark. In extra time Zidane scores from a brilliant 25 metre free kick. One minute later Gerrard stupidly attempts to kick the ball back to James, Henry pounces and its brought down in the penalty box and Zidane converts the penalty, France wins 2 - 1.

What a great come back.

Beckham, hang your head in shame, you've just cost your country another lose.

If Beckham had score that Penalty at around the 80 minute mark, there would have been no way France would have bounced back.

if the dutch can hold the internal bickering to one side (yes I'm looking at you klivert) I reckon the oranje boys can do it.

HUP HOLLAND!

A win over Gemany tomorrow morning is all that really matters TiaT.

Hup Holland indeed!

Being half Pom I'm a super keen England supporter. That loss to France after being 1 nil up in injury time is so England like,it's already set the tone for their campaign.

Italy don't look to me like the're the goods.Certainly the most boring.

Spain is the darkhorse for mine.

France deserve to be favourites.

Overnight results.

Sweden 5 Bulgaria Nil  Larrson scored twice.
Italy Nil - Denmark Nil  Typical boring Italian style match.

I am looking foward to Holland v Germany tonight.  Go HOLLAND!

My predictions for tonights matches
Holland 2 - Germany 0
Czech Republic 4 - Latvia 0

Greece to continue its rampaging form against the most over rated team in Europe - Spain!!

King Otto (Greece's coach) will take them ALL the way....

All my staff left me yesterday at 4pm to watch the game. Myself and a Sth African collegue were all that were left in the 200 strong building.

So you can imagine what fun I had when Aussie beat them 3-1 at Upton Park in Feb 2003
