I have watch and loved Richmond all my life and at 51, I can’t see who our next star is at all.
We have alway had a great player to keep us coming to the footy but I just can’t see one at the moment.
Who is our next Richo Jack or Dusty? Who are the player that the kids are going to want their number on their back.

Shai Bolton, Daniel Rioli, Noah Balta are all stars and would get games in any other line up.

But other than that I'd say they aren't on our list yet. Big couple of years recruiting for the club coming up and hopefully the next Cotchin, Jack or Rance will come in the next few years. I didn't include Dusty because generational players like him don't come around very often.

I don’t know but as Zhou Enlai remarked when asked about the impact of the French Revolution, “it’s too soon to tell.”

Our younger players weren’t high draft picks. They will take longer to develop. Who is to say Banks, Brown or Campbell won’t turn out to be stars after 100-150 games?

I agree Campbell is the best of our kids, but he’s not going to be the superstar we know of. We were spoilt with Dusty, Cotchin, Riewoldt, Sheds, Grimes, Rioli, Rance, Bolton , Nankervis, Houli , Lynch and Prestia. Now we are hoping Toce will find at least three in the next draft as that’s how low we’ve sunk.

Campbell maybe , but atm they’re all at Tivendale level.

If we use the Media's definition of "AFL Star" then we already have at least 15 of them on our list

It's too early to tell., It's been a terrible year with so many injuries, the talk about players wanting to leave and very little team continuity, but some of the kids have shown a bit. Campbell, Brown, Banks and Lefau have all had their moments, Uncle seemed to be having his best year till he got injured. I remember when Edwards and Rance first started they regularly got a whipping on this site
