Chaffey is one of the most under-rated players. he does so much hard work that its not funny. he is the most hard working player at the club and deserves to be rewarded. without him at the club richmond would be in a worse position than in what they are now. THANKS CHAFFS!

I think Chaff is rated highly by all richmond supporters. It would be nice if he got recognition from others but as long as we know how good he is that's all that matters.

Vadim, there have been plenty of threads about Chaff.

You are on the wrong track saying he's under rated. He is one of the few players I can't remember being bagged on here.

The club would rate Chaff too. He'll be in the top few in the b&f.

He was named in the mock all Australian team on channel 9 today.

Go Chaff, what a consistant season. Proud to be his and Andy's president . Go the backmen. ;)

Without a doubt, Chafey is our most consistant player over the past 4 years.

Unfortunately, not many defenders get their just awards.

Rosy,
I wanst saying he is under rated at our club, i was saying he is under rated in the comp, never once i read an article about him or never once i heard a TV commentator mentioning his name in a good sense.

VG let them under rate him to their own detriment I say.

I never rated CHAFFEY early on either, but I have certainly changed that view over the years. He has come on very well and is very courageous.

I agree. Mark Chaffey is one of the most underrated players in the AFL. And he has a bigger heart than a lion.

I know pace isn't his greatest asset but I would like to see him get the occasional run on the ball and believe that he would be very handy in the packs around the ground and would take some of the load of Coggo and Johnno in this area.

im glad u said that and it shows ur support for him and the club

Does bagging Zanners show lack of support for the club then? ;D

i wasnt baggin him, i was saying that he wasnt up to his best today and that he didnt give his 100%. if u call this baggin then every word that has been said on this forum is bagging.

Accusing him of not putting in 100%, well if that's not bagging him then I hope I never see your version of a bagging

are u targeting me? weren't u bagging a whole list of players just a moment ago?

No VG I am not targetting you. Who was I bagging, i can't recall.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I respect that.

Some players are not upto it, but I don't say they don't putting in 100%. For some no matter how much effort they put in they will not be up to the required standard.

Don't take things personally, it is not intended to be personal. That is what this board is all about. There are many posters I don't agree with and many who don't agree with me, but it is not personal.

Enjoy it, don't take it to heart.

Although I think Cogs will win it, finishing high up (top 3 possibly) in the B&F will be Chafs reward this year for his efforts and deservedly so. Like AK he is a quiet achiever who puts his head down and puts the team first. Wish many of our guys had Chafs' attitude and consistent commitment.

Onya Mark :)

Chaff was picked on a half back flank on the Garry Lyon/Gerard Healey footy program yesterday. Cogs was on the bench. Only 2 Tigers figured in their best team.

Yeah, Chaffey comes to play EVERY week. As do Coughlan, Newman and Andrew Kellaway. The way they contest is an example to the rest of the club.

Numerous others should take a leaf out of their book.
