I just watched the replay, and Denis Cometti and Terry Wallace are doing their best to get Fleming and Staff looked at by the trial by video police.
We got Cogs off his charge, so what's the verdict on these two?
Will the incidents be given any more than a passing glance?

I haven't watched all of the replay.

But on Staf - I reckon he will be sited. As Mr. "Centremetre Perfect" said Staff has a reputation for this sort of stuff. Least it wasn't his elbows this time. At the game it didn't look too bad but on the replay in slow-mo I didn't think it looked great.

As for Fleming haven't seen that one yet.

I thought both of Stafford's "incidents" were fairly innoccuous. With the knee in the back, considering the umpire was right there and did not do so much as award a 50m penalty let alone report him, i don't expect it to be followed through with. Then again, the player did go down and was hurt, and the tribunal always look more seriously at incidents when players get hurt.

For example, both Lloyd and Barnard meted out sucker punches on the weekend, but only Barnard's opponent doubled over in pain. So I expect him to go for a week whilst pretty boy Lloyd will get off. (By the way suck *smile* to the Dons).

As for the other Stafford attempted elbow/don't argue, lol, well he missed, and connected with the forearm. The player wasn't hurt and it looked fairly trivial. So he should get off for that.

It always makes me laugh how the afl charges players on tiggy touchwood incidents and up north in the rugby they full throw and connect with haymakers and they get off. LMAOOO, why didn't Mal Brown play rugby.

knowing the tribunal they will pin us again!!! We always get a rough deal!!! Depends on wether they think fleming and hasleby were close enough to the ball!!! Staff will probable go unfortunately!!!

Robert Walls and Mike Sheehan on "On the Couch" were also talking about the Stafford and Fleming incidents and saying that Fleming in particular should be reported.

Looks like they got the all clear from the video police.
Go Cogs and Flem and Staff....good to see some toughness.......don't push the boundaries too far though.
Watch out Saints.

Hope I'm not a bit premature here, but I think the video scrutineers have finished for the round.

Are the Sunday games judged on the same day as the Friday/Saturday games? I had the feeling they are viewed today but I could be wrong.

I didn't see the difference between what Fleming did and Cogs in round 1. Just good old hip and shoulders. I agree with JohnF on Stafford - both fairly innoccuous incidents. None of the Freo players remonstrated so to me none of them saw anything in it as well.

I heard them say on the telly that the round has been finished.
