One thing which is normal for driving in Thailand is to be careful when you have a green light at a traffic intersection as this youtube clip shows. Red, Green or Amber doesn't really make a difference to the local Thai, licensed to drive or not.
We expats see it everyday and any casual conversation amongst us always leads to the local driving habits.
My daughter was a victim to their colour blindness a while ago, luckily she was not injured and the goose that caused the accident was only slightly injured.
She ended up paying for the goose's hospital costs though as the police inquiry deemed a contributing cause was the fact that my daughter was a 'farang'.
