Not a very tall side, need to draft a couple of talls in this years draft.

Cusack will probably give Chol a chop out, if match- ups allow it i wouldn't mind seeing Miller given a bit of a run in the ruck.

We have John Cusack playing for us? I loved him in High Fidelity!

love the look of the center line C: 45. P. Naish, 26. R. Collier-Dawkins, 28. F. Turner !

I said the same thing to some mates a couple of weeks ago that I could well see this being our future centre line, (not quite Barrot, Bourke and Clay ;)), but they are tracking nicely!

Very scrappy game. Maybe wind-induced. Chol & Miller doing well in the ruck but Essendon have no-one, a ruckman Goetz (VFL listed) who played a handful of games in 2016 for Bulldogs and just 2nd game this year for Essendon and Riley Bowman, a youngster trying to get picked up in the mid-season draft.

3 point win to the Tigers. Umps must have given Essendon 10 frees and 2 x 50m penalties in the last. Chol great game, probably BOG.

That's the best I've ever seen Chol play, and I'm a critic. He saved the game for us. Three centre clearances in the final quarter and some important ruck hitouts and marks around the ground.

Chol. BOG ... clunked very handy marks deep in defence, late in the final quarter. Fraser Turner - so much upside with this kid. Will be a midfield gem in a season or so.

Chol saying 'What about me?' in the best way. Brilliant game. I thought Townsend was very good as well

Also thought it was Chols best game, not sure the competition was much though, didn’t think anyone did anything to great, really like Turners ability to just keep finding the footy, Aarts toughness , Naish though not having his best game continued to work hard which I thought was a great sign.

Could only catch the tail-end and didn't the Dumps try very hard to assist the Bummers to cause an upset. Lucky we held on. Delighted to see Chol really step and win/save the match virtually.

But for those who saw the whole game, did Butler go well again?
