Upgrading PF and GF tickets

Hi,

My son is a junior MR club member but is overseas. I contacted the club and the AFL and couldn't get a definitive answer to the following scenarios.

PF
If I purchase a child ticket using his barcode can it be upgraded to an adult ticket?

GF
If I purchase a concession ticket (no child tickets for GF) can it be upgraded to an adult ticket?

According to the club I can't upgrade the tickets to an adult one, is that correct?

Seemed to remember this question came up last year or the year before (we are in so many finals now, I can't keep track of them all!!).

My initial memory was that PF tix could be upgraded on the day from one ticket window at the MCG they had open for things like this and issuing of handicap tickets and ticket reprints etc. but GF tix couldn't.

Unless another PREnder knows definitively my suggestions would be
1. Look through PRE for the finals ticket thread coz the answer might be there
2. RIng the AFL - AFL runs the finals, not saying RFC don't know the answer, but they don't make the call, so go to the people who do - the AFL. And don't ring the ticket people!! They would have no idea, they just do what they are told (and whack on a fee for the privilege).

Used to be a great scam for away games until they put them different coloured lights on the turnstile alerting the attendant to what category of ticket has been scanned. Manual scanner a whole different story IIRC

Thanks for the advice. I rang the AFL GF package number but they don't even sell child tickets and had no idea. Would be grateful if anyone has another AFL number I could try.
