Hi

Wondering if anyone can help me with this issue.

I would estimate that more than 50% of the time, I cannot see pictures people post up on PRE. All I see is a thin frame with a little white box in it with a red cross. I right click on the little box and select show picture, but nothing happens.

I am figuring I have a setting somewhere that is causing me problems. Any ideas on what it might be?

Please note, this dosen't happen all the time, in that I can see some pictures. For example, in the Dustin Martin thread, I can see the skull and cross bones, but not the t-shirt designs on the most recent posts.

Any suggestions appreciated.

The white box with a red cross usually indicates an inactive link, but if that was the case everyone would experience the same problem. I can't help sorry Streak. There have been a few hosting issues recently which are being looked into so I don't know if they'd be causing the problem or not.

Agree Rosy. Pretty sure the problem is at my end, but got no idea on how to fix it.

it sounds like a browser issue streaker. have you tried ctrl and f5. it resets and reloads the page. failing that try another browser like chrome or firefox depending on which one you are already using

Streak have you done the basic things like clearing cookies and temporary files and restarting your computer? Also do you have a selection thing at the top of your browser for something like optimise page (not sure exactly what it says cos I don't have it).

It gets a bit weirder.

I have had a few suggestions about it and now I can see some pictures, but still not everyhting.

For example, the photos from the Brisbane game I can see perfectly. But the ones in the Dustin Martin thread are still not there.

Anyway, I have a mate who owns a computer shop coming over for tea tomorrow night, so I'll see what he can do for the price of whatever my wife is cooking.
