The Herald Sun have gone through each club and picked their respective top 3 in the B&F and also the winner.

So maybe its a good time to see who we think our top 10 in the B&F will be.

1. Cotchin
2. Deledio
3. Rance
4. Houli
5. Martin
6. Riewoldt
7. Nahas
8. Newman
9. Vickery
10. Grigg

I agree with the 10 but my order would be slghtly different
1. Cotchin
2. Deledio
3. Martin
4. Houli
5. Nahas
6. Rance
7. Riewoldt
8. Newman
9. Grigg
10. Vickery

The most improved player will be a close call. Rance , Vickery and Nahas all have claims . Best first year player could well be Batchelor with Conca a close 2nd.

1-Mcguane
2-Miller
3-Jackson
4-Edwards
5-Graham
6-Tuck
7-White
8-Morton
9-Post
10-Hislop

Can someone remind me what the voting format is. This makes a big difference. Is it 5-4-3-2-1 each game from 4 different voters?

The five members of the match committee cast votes for each player.  They can each give anything from zero to five votes per player, so the mazimum a player can get in a game is 25 votes. Five votes are awarded for an outstanding performance down to zero for a poor one.

Edit-  I haven't seen enough games to form much of an opinion about the results this year but I reckon, due to the voting system, that Sir Rancealot and Lids will go very close.  Our back men saw a lot of the ball this season.

Thanks Rosy!

In that case I'm going with:
1. Cotchin
2. Rance
3. Deledio
4. Vickery
5. Martin
6. Foley
7. Houli
8. Nahas
9. Riewoldt
10. Newman

Top 10 (if not the order) does seem fairly clear cut this year.
1) Cotchin
2) Deledio
3) Martin
4) Jack
5) Newman
6) Houli
7) Vickery
8) Rance
9) Nahas
10) Grigg

Only others I can think of who've played enough to potentially be in are Foley, King, Edwards and Jackson with only the first two showing any kind of form.

1 Cotchin
2 Deledio
3 Rance
4 Martin
5 Houli
6 Riewoldt
7 Foley
8 Grigg
9 Nahas
