....... for those who work with Carlton supporters who didn't know how to shut their mouths about ladder positions a couple of months ago. Go your hardest Tigers. They have it coming to them:banana

The best thing to say to Carlton supporters today is nothing …… just look them in the eye, raise both eyebrows, make a half smile, shake your head …. and say nothing.
Make ‘em wait a day or so before speaking about it. It’ll hurt them more having to wait.

I remember going to a match at Princess Park in the 60's. Sir Robert Menzies was sitting in his roller on a purpose built scaffold watching his beloved blues 20 feet above the rest of us. Didn't resent him at all but the idea that anyone, even a former PM, could come to the footy in this way to me smacked of entitlement.
Far prefer our culture, which is built on equality.

Tiges are in Finals
Carlton are not
God’s in his heaven
All’s right with the world!

(With apologies to Robert Browning - or maybe not; he probably hated Carlton too)

when we played them in R14. Carlton were in the top 4 and we were 9th... you could see the swagger and arrogance of Carlton supporters were back. They have certainly been knocked down a peg or 3 since then.

I've never enjoyed humming the opening chords of the Carlton song like today.

I reckon you tell them how you understand how they feel and its disappointing because Carlton is your second favourite team.

Just like everyone used to say to us.

Not quite Spring yet, but with the Blues and Bombers missing the finals......again, it sure does feel like it.

My Carlton supporting colleague has decided to work from home today citing ‘interrupted sleep and headache’ lol. Maybe we can call that condition ‘Carltonitis’.

I have harboured deep hurt and a strong hatred of Carlton since the final in '93.

Those smug pricks beating us after actually missing the finals and also when we were leading by more than 30 points.

Beating them in R 1 every year until this year still didn't take the pain away, BUT yesterday did.

I know how much those flog supporters of theirs are hurting and I love it. That pain will last and last for a long time. The karma bus finally hit them, then backed up over them.

It was delicious.

Pretty happy the arrogant ones missed out!
They are Public Enemy No. 1 as far as I am concerned.
What an entitled lot.

Funny caller on SEN this morning.
(I don't listen normally as I despise Mince.)
Anyway Magpies caller jumped on and said he hasn't called any of his bagger mates.
Will wait till Wednesday for wounds to heal slightly then he will rip them open again!
