Hey fellow tigers, some thoughts about the tribunal appearance tonight of Lenny Hayes.  Now Tim Fleming copped 3 weeks last year for a similar incident, and rightly so, but lets see if Hayes (the new Hird of AFL) gets the same treatment?  Both incidents are almost identical, and both victims continued to play the game out.  Also how did Hayes avoid a kneeing charge against Brennen from the lions just on ¼ time?  Stafford copped 3 weeks for a similar incident, and Hayes has not even been reported?  Gee some players are protected in this game and none seem to be from the Tiges either?

yeah i hope his does, but i think he should get another 2-3 for the kneeing charge - yet no one has even reported him as yet?

he won't get done now on the kneeing charge KT. He should get at least 2 for the elbow though. The only reason Stafford got cited was because of the injury to the St Kilda dud. If he didn't have the injury, I don't even reckon he would have gone up before the tribunal

Yep, you are right. Just think some players going around these days are protected. Hayes is becomming the next Hird i think. I cant remember a tiger getting away with such stuff? maybe i am just one-eyed?

yep he got 2 weeks..bit lucky..no doubt the saints will appeal..hope he then gets 3 ;)

Two top players suspended, $50k fine, and a possible loss at Subiaco

Yep, this is the real world Saints, you're honeymoon's over

Freo is a tough trip..actually I'm interested to see if they can win the next week...remember the Subiaco hangover?

After the wiz cup, I said the Saints won't lose in Melbourne this year...I should have put a gold note on it.
