tigers or roos who will play finals first , after watching north beat port tonight you would have to say noerth , they are in a similar position to us with a new coach next year and last game of the year interstate and even less than the tigers to play for as no players retired , and we loose and somehow north manufacture a win ?????????????????????????????????????????????

Port are rubbish but probably Roos - their rucks/big man department is far superior to ours.

we won 8 of 11 late last year and also beat the premiers in RD 21 i think it was, that sure helped us this year :help

North have got some solid size to build on with Petrie, Macintosh, Goldstein, Stevens, Hansen and Grima.

The likes of Swallow, Urqhart, Greenwood, Thomas ect and Anthony are also promising types

Id back the Kangas to impact before the Tigers

How anyone can be positive with our list after the crap they dished out I will never know. I'll try to anyway.

Ours really is much younger and hasn't the depth. These are the guys that I think will definitely make it.

Tyrone Vickery, Jack Riewoldt, Andrew Browne, Jayden Post and Will Thursfield. Definitely an area we need to improve on.

Brett Deledio, Richard Tambling, Trent Cotchin, Andrew Collins, Shane Edwards, Mitch Morton, Nathan Foley....I feel we have better kids than them.

Maybe but they ain't great mate. We have at least a platform to work off. Now with a new coach that looks like he will take the right approach, we have more cash, better facilities, a bigger fan base to generate a lot more than they can ever dream of.

I'm backing Damien Hardwick. It's going to be hardwork, but we got the right man for the job.

it just hurts after friday nights weak effort , that the team could not get a win for cogs , brownie , jade and most importantly to save some of their careers and pride in the jumper on the grand stage of friday night footy which is the most watched match of each home & away round

now we have started who's better,, we are the best and we will play finals as long as the people in charge stick to there jobs and develop the kids, a huge turn over of players, new faces, new game plan, things will happen. we have had dark dark dark days under frawley. we will bounce back and we will be very competitive next year. as for north yeah they might win more games in front of there huge supporter base in darwin.

Accurate and depressing.

difference is, North have Spirit. Richmond think they have spirit, but they are rubbish. Glad the season is over. Hope Dimma can turn team morale around pretty quickly.

Freo should be shorter than us.

Without doubt I am getting on the Hawks at $15.

Carlton at $10 is laughable.

As painful as the last few weeks have been, if recent Tiger history has taught us anything is that late season form of teams not making the 8 is pretty meaningless in predicting the longer term future.

I'm sure we all remember us flogging the WCE in Perth last year.

Good point, a few good trades and a fit Hawthorn list will be near unstoppable.

I think we have approached the afl with a view to play games in the N.T as well Zippa

I'd be on the crows at 17's just ahead of the hawks at 15.

No way anyone could rightly argue we have a better medium term future than the Roos.

Have some decent underrated young players with a spine already there to build around.

Hardwick has it all ahead of him.

Have to be the roos especially with that winning culture they have developing through winning those games late in the season?! 8)
