I for one hope we come out on Sunday and just attack this game with everything we have.

No tagging, back our midfield to beat theirs.

Play on, run through the lines, run past for a handball, take it up the middle. Back yourself to beat your man.

I'm sick of walking away from our games having witnessed very little to get excited about. We are running out to 'not lose' a game, lets just go out and try and win one.

If we are gonna lose, lets lose 25 goals to 20, rather than 13 goals to 7. But we just need to attack, take a man on, have a bounce, centre the ball, back our skills and have a real crack.

I agree with your thinking DF, but it's a bit too simplistic to me.

You have to play a game on it's merits. If plan A fails go to plan B.

There are 6 in the backline who's main job is to stop the opposition scoring. If they can create play to our advantage as well it is a big plus and the team would really benefit, but I think the defensive talents of backmen are too often overlooked.

It's a special skill of the game imo, and takes a lot of disclipline.

I'd love to see our midfield good enough to take on others and if that's working fine.
If it's not I am all for tagging someone who's doing us too much damage.

I think we would have gone better last week if Buckley could have been stopped. He was far more damaging to us than any of our players was to Collingwood.

What if someone like Nathan Brown for eg is killing us on Sunday? I'm all for 1 player being sacrificed to stop that, "IF" we have anyone capable of doing it. It can be a positive too, because Duncan has got more posessions than Buckley when he's meant to be the tagger.

I'd hope Danny starts the game really attacking, but has an alternative to put in place quickly if it becomes obvious we aren't playing as well as the Dogs.

I'd rather a close fought game than a flogging. It's a matter of seeing how the guys come out to play on the day imo.

If we're not good enough to beat a team at their own game, then stop them if we can.
If we're on top then let the fun begin. It's been a long while since we've seen a Richmond like that.

Well said DF. If we turn the game into a shoot out, I would give us a great chance. Guys with run like Bowden and Tiv would have a ball.

The main point you make which I agree with is the going out to win, not going out to not lose.

Attack is the best form of defence
