Gold Coast (SE - QLD).
We’ve got to have the conversation about the 2019 premiership campaign squad.

We’ve currently won 7 in a row since the bye with these 28 players.

Houli grimes broad
Vlastuin Astbury Ellis
Caddy dusty mcintosh
Castagna. Riewoldt. Edwards
Rioli. Lynch. Lambert
Nankervis. Cotchin Prestia
Graham short Ross Stack Bolton Baker Chol butler soldo Eggs.

Rance (2016 flag) and Higgins (2018 QF) are ruled out.
Townsend - no sign despite form in the VFL.

This year the club has asked most of its juniors to cover injuries this season.

The kids have been sensational.

Ross and Stack have just walked into the team and owned it.
Bolton Baker Chol soldo Balta and Eggs-Smith have impressed all observers.

The future is bright for richmond.

But the big guns have come back and the 2nds are going back to the vfl.

All year I’ve been interested to see which kids hold their spot.

It’s now down to 5.

Ross Stack Chol baker Bolton.

This group are keeping out mcintosh butler & Townsend.

One of the kids won’t play on Sunday v WCE.
Assuming no injuries, I bet another one drops out for Cotchin the week after.

Unless they do pick Towner, Butler Mcintosh or the marvellous sublime superlative flying Super-Pickett.

But If it comes down to three spots I’ve only got Ross and stack locked in.

Chol Baker & bolton will be competing for the last spot.

Chol and Bolton have played in every game of our current 7 match winning streak.

Bolton and baker are seriously close on stats this year.

Also baker is contracted and Chol will probably sign but I’m not so sure about Bolton.

If they send baker for example to the vfl then it’s Chol v Bolton. They are both x-factor forwards and the weather might select which one plays.

It’s that month coming up where winter meets Spring and anything is possible.

Interesting times.

To put it in simpler terms

From our 2017 premiership team
Out: Rance and Grigg
In: Lynch and Short

And competition for spots from
Ross Stack baker Bolton Chol & Soldo.

My Finals team would be:

Broad Astbury Vlaustin
Houli Grimes Stack
Bolton Martin Pickett
Riewoldt Lambert Edwards
Rioli Lynch Castagna
Nank Cotchin Prestia

Ross, Caddy, Graham, Chol

Townsend, Naish, Aarts

I like that team a lot, blx.
Maybe Chol might be my only query.
But that team is good enough to bring home the silverware in 2019.

That there is our 2019 premiership team.

Ellis mcintosh & short would be sad.

yeah those 3 would be my emergencies I reckon, with Kmac first.

good side Tfan

my only query would be Chol as well, but happy for him to be there.

In 2017 our finals team did not change.
Same as 2018 but Towner butler Ellis were out for short higgins & Conca.

I reckon our 2019 team will be unchanged through the series too.

there seems to be a lot of love for Pickett, but i wouldn't be picking him this late in the season.

Reckon you're right, Bin Man.
If he wasn't/isn't a late inclusion against the Eagles, then that's it for the seniors this year.
Goes away, has a big pre-season and plays the opener against Carlton in 2020.

a 22 something this

Ive assigned a (P) for peaking at the perfect time (S) for status quo and a (L) for needs to lift

Broad (S) Astbury (P) Vlaustin (P)
Houli (P) Grimes (P) short (L)
Bolton (L) Martin (P) Balta
Riewoldt (L) Lambert (L) Edwards (P)
Rioli (L) Lynch (P) Castagna (S)
Soldo (S) Cotchin (L) Prestia (P)

Brando (P) Caddy (L), Graham (P), Chol (L)

I reckon if players stay peaking and we get Lifts out of 3 blokes, we get another cup

Can't see Chol being ahead of Nanks personally. Also Ross and Baker would be very stiff. Just shows it's a damn hard side to get into atm. And that's a great thing leading into finals.

yeah I did that side pretty quick. Bakes definitely in my September side, and obviously Nank too. But im assuming Nank is too risky to take to September but hoping for the best. Your ruckman tweaking a groin early in a final is a catestrophic scenario.

Ross Id love through September, but hes an 18 year old man and someone has to miss?
