Great news, the 12 junior soccer players and their coach have been found after being missing for 9 days in underground caves in Thailand.
It must have been terrifying being down there when flood waters trapped them. Nine days without food and complete darkness 2 miles below ground.
Well done to all the rescuers and people involved :clap

Incredible story. Stoked they got 'em out.

Great news.

Glad our country with some others assisted.

I must admit I had suspicions of foul play. Sorry the cynic in me. My wife who is Thai was against this train of thought.

She would be really happy all the children have been found. Amazing !

They've been found. Getting them food and water is tough. Getting them out tougher

They are talking it may take months. ?

Need to possibly get the kids trained to dive ?

There has to be alternatives. Surely?

Former Thai navy seal died through lack of oxygen.

5 hours underwater. Tried to be revived but died.

I'm hoping this doesn't have a terrible ending to trying to save them. Oxygen is running out where they are trapped.

Just heard TF.

5 hours there 6 hours to get them out.

Good luck. Hope this has a happy ending for all those families waiting for their children and their heroic coach.

Thinking of you all here in Aus.

Other way around I thought. 6 hours in, 5 out for the divers. But with the kids in tow it'll take longer.

The first 4 boys have begun the trip out. Good luck to everyone involved.

Thought that's how I heard it Baloo.

Makes sense it would take longer out as there will be two divers for each kid?

Apologies if wrong?

I heard 5 in and 6 out. With 2 divers per kid. The kid in between them as they come out.
Midnight tonight should see the first results

Having lived in Thailand & with a boy who plays soccer the same age as these kids it's awfully close to home.
I can't imagine what their parents are going through.
Sending them all my positive thoughts.

Hopefully the rain keeps holding.

It's being reported that Thai officials have said that 2 of the boys have been rescued :clap

Yep, all coming out now. Sad that 1 death had to happen in this case.
