God we only won by 49 points or whatever...we should sack all the coaching staff and delist 90% of our list.

Pheww I fee better now...just wanted to give the ferals a starting point,

Was that dud FLEMMING really so bad as I heard all preseason??????

GO THE MIGHTY YELLOW AND BLACK.

God did we actually win again. You better believe it...

lol gus ;D

Nah they'll stay quiet waiting with baited breath for a loss over the next month.

If we lose to St Kilda or Hawthorn it'll be "see how hopeless we are losing to dud sides like such and such".
If we lose to Port Adelaide away or Essendon it'll be "see nothing has changed, we always go missing...ya de ya da..."

On another note, for a laugh go check out dockerland from our links page. Goes to show all supporters tear their hair out.

on victory we thrive, eat 'em alive!

Well I am with you Gus.

What an absolutely disgusting effort . Really. Seriously

How could they do it - win 2 games in a row. In the rain no less on a milestone day. For crying out loud what is going on down there at Punt Road?

How can we seriously sack the coaching panel this week? I mean really - 48 points. Give me a break.

What the hell are we going to talk about now ???

Hmmmm I suppose we could talk about Rodan, Cogs, Cambo, Johnson (to name a few). Or we could try and talk about their attack on the ball because it was good - really good. We could talk about Fleming's debut.....but we better not because that would be positive.

But guess what - I am positive for at least 1 week I can be ..er.... POSITIVE

;D ;D ;D

Believe me it was a very good win, actually a game they just couldnt afford to drop in what will be a very even season. I looked at the Dockers side on paper and it just oozed class and should of caused problems.

Very good win. We always play better when Richardson isn't in the team.

Seriously, lots of good signs. The midfield looks ok, Rodan and Coughlan keep getting better and *smile* has put in 3 good games in a row.

BUT

It was only Fremantle. The team has proven nothing until it can overcome the likes of Essendon and or Port Adelaide. And Lets try and not get carried away with Fleming just yet, we all no what happens to cult heroes at Tigerland.

very good post tiger furious!!!! Seems a lot of people miss the whole point!!!! Yes it is great to win and see players go in hard after the ball!!!! Thats all we ask for!!! BUT it is only fremantle in the rain!!! Why do we do the same things year in year out!!! Lat year we were 2-1 also and look what happened!!!! im not trying to be negative but honestly lets wait a few more weeks before we start the sarcasms!!!! They will bite back, and very hard!!!! If we can play 3qtrs of the season with the same hunger as we did yesterday i dont think you will get too many angry supporters!!!! But lets first beat some quality opposition and then start singing praises!!! Remember birdman, plapp!!! They become instant cult heroes and were very dissapoiniting!!!!! At least they gave fleming a go which is what i have said all along!!!! This was a game we were expected to win so lets just wait and see...... HERES to more of the same!!! The one thin to take out of the game is that we do need to restructure our fwd line and not look for richo!!!! Keep him out of the 50!!! If we resort back to the same game plan than questions will be asked!!! Let our midfielders become our main goal scorers!!!! It worked great yesterday and we do become less predictable!!! HERES HOPING!!! Also helps when you play players in their positions!!!

Exactly right frawelyudud and Tigerfurious.

Great win yesterday, was really impressed with our hardness at the ball. Lets not get carried away too soon.

Myself being a hard critic will give praise to the players and the coach for yesterdays performance - they deserve it. However this was one performance against froe in the rain - a different ball game where making the right decision under pressure isn't as important as intensity at the ball.

As soon as we can consistently show that we can make the correct decisions under intense pressure and win games against top teams, then I will praise them and say we are a chance for the finals. Until then I will say good game yesterday, enjoy the moment, and look forward to next week.

You guys don't give in do you? We realise all of the things you said, but could you just let us enjoy our victory without going on about how it was only fremantle and in the rain. Pretty please with sugar on top ;D

Agree it was only Fremantle, but we should take our wins when we can get them. By the way, we were 5 goals up before the rain came.

If we can get by the hawks and the saints in the next couple of weeks we will be 4-1. With the return of Dutchy and hopefully some fitness for Blumfield by then, we could be on the up.

It's a good point you raise JohnF. Blumfield has failed to impress, but we know he is a very capable footballer. There's plenty of improvement left in this group of players. Although we were 2/1 this time last year, we have a better list and should therefore have more reason for hoping we can impact the final 8.

It was a good win as we were in control of the game both when it was dry as well as wet, won easily without Richo, Otto and Holland, and had ten or more goal scorers for the second week in a row. Don't forget although we expected to win, many commentators tipped Freo. We have lost these type of games in the past.

With my very expensive membership package, we had the privelge of hearing Hutchison speak pre match and he said Blumfield is a long way from match fitness. I agree, keep Richo on a wing, his days as a leading football are numbered and his disgraceful kicking inspires no confidence to his teammates. Whether the Minister of Information does this is a nother matter.

If Blumfield is not fit then why the hell are they playing him. I don't buy into that crap about a 70% fit Blumfield being better than most other players.

If he's injured, rest him. If he's unfit then give him a few weeks in the reserves but if he's not fit then don't play him in the seniors, god knows we already have enough passengers.

to these negative people have alook at the game again and tell me the score before it rained. ::)

if we lost on the weekend this thread would be at least tripled by now.
