Vc Gov has introduced some restrictions, not sure how that will impact sporting venues but I couldn't get tickets today for the AFL reserve on sale.
Have any club members been affected by this announcement?

I then received this email.

"The AFL advises that the AFL Member on-sale for Round 11 and 12 scheduled for 10am this morning will be delayed.
An updated on-sale time will be advised later today".

As a club member, haven’t received any email yet as of 10.20 this morning.
As a Maurice Rioli Club member, got an email at 10.05 am saying the room will be open pre and post game subject to COVID restrictions

At least we are playing Adelaide this week so not expecting a big crowd. Next week is a different story.

True, was thinking the same thing about RD 11
RD 12 V Ess (their home game), hope restrictions don't severely reduce the current 85% capacity.

Premiership Circle. Reserved Bay. Punt Road End.

Nothing from club, but did see them tweet that i can't log in at 1pm and get my tickets for Sunday and will be advised when i can.

Anything could happen........and probably will.

Yeah but it nullifies the home crowd advantage and benefits the crows

I would think that a limit of 30 for public gatherings would be a severe knock on the head for 85% capacity.

I'd much rather a reduced capacity than no crowds at all. if they go no crowds for this round, we should take our bye this week RD 11 and not RD 13 as scheduled

I suspect they are waiting for that 3 day reset that all states seem to be going through with outbreaks at the moment. If there are no new cases (and high level of testing) or it doesn't break out from the current family clusters then we may be ok, even if we all have to wear masks at the footy.

Reckon they won't make a comment about the footy this weekend until Thursday night. Makes Friday night a tough one though.

Just got on to Ticketek and after selecting the option I think I am, I then proceed and cannot secure tickets. I have a reserved seat and theis option does not seem to appear.

If we are forced to play with no crowds this week, surely we will get compensated with free entry for an away game?

On a tangent.... Pre Qld hub last year AFL was able to go ahead in Melb because AFL clubs went into bubbles even tighter than the public. Any idea if they have to do something similar from today?

Can't say for sure but I reckon as other states have done we will see after 3 days with all the testing to eb done and see if cases rise. (hopefully not)
