1. Stafford - Got us over the line again after looking like he had stuffed up his knee. Just loved it when the crowd roared when he returned back onto the ground.
Just one thing Staff - the easy tap downs should go to the guys wearing yellow and black guernseys .

Phew! The great escape! We were lucky to win tonight, (though we would have been unlucky had we lost). Good to see the boys hang tough in the last quarter when it looked like the Demons were going to run away with it. The votes...

3. Richo - A really impressive performance. 16 marks, 24 touches, 4 goals, what more do you want! You cant top that. (5 free kicks he gave away were pretty bad though).

2. Chaffey - The rock of Gibraltar. Took some telling marks and made some key plays from down back when goals looked certain agaisnt us. Would have to be in line for All-Australia this year based on his performances so far.

1. Staff - Great in the first half and took some clutch marks in the end, basically winning us the game. Hope the knee is alright, we need you to school Gardiner next week.

Also good:

Bowden - Continues to mix the good with the shithouse, but tonight the good was extremely good. Loved that 60 metre bomb.

Kellaway - Very gutsy player. Having a great year.

Zantuck - Some poor disposals, but he got plenty of the footy and did some creative running plays.

Newman and Tivendale were also good. Nice snap by marshmallow *smile* Pettifer.

Very special mention to Matty Rogers who did exactly what he was asked - keeping Adim OhhZay (Yze) very quiet and ineffective. I think I heard on the replay that early in the 4th quarter OhhZay had had only 8 possessions. Well done Matt - just what we needed.
