Gibbons just had a shot a goal from 40 metres out and didn't make the distance.......he's the guy who should've taken the kick instead of Newnes last week.
And Newnes just had a shot from 35 metres and kicked it out on the full.

Looking slippery as hell up there in Darwin. You'd hope that'd suit our game tomorrow night.

One passage Suns had to handball sideways 5 times, nothing upfield. All in the b backline again. I thought the go for young developing teams is let them play not resort to harm minimisation from first bounce.

Only time I went to Darwin was GF week2016. So only 5 weeks later in year. Daytime was searing. Hard to imagine condiotions are conducive to footy even at night.

Run, run, run... chaos, chaos, chaos...

Tigers written all over our game tomorrow.

Fairly average spectacle at present. Go Suns!

Its hard watching this game.
Looks like perfect conditions, but the skills are like they're playing in a heavy down pour.
Sorry but i've never seen a game played in the NT that is a good spectacle.

Carlton making our form look average, doing a number on Gold Coast at present.

Exactly Julius.
Was just going to post the same.
Should have smashed GC by 10 goals plus not 3 goals.

Better be on tomorrow.

On another topic, does anyone else feel a little uncomfortable with BT's commentary? Very condescending towards the locals.

I guess where Brian comes from there are no grassy areas and definitely no fishing chairs.

It’s a great venue for the indigenous round as the crowd is full of countrymen. And they love their footy.

Thought he was looking pretty sharp tonight.

There is a very 'second-class' citizens vibe to it. Especially the close up/comments on people on deckchairs in the grassy knolls.

Yeah and at one stage he was talking like seeing a game of footy was blowing everyone's mind, like they are some sort of primitive people who have no connection with the rest of the world.

If anyone would have an idea about the thoughts of primitive people it would be BT.

Don’t underestimate the super short turnaround for GC. Particularly in those conditions. Luckocious looked like he was running on the spot when trying to run down his opponent before Carlton scored.

Umm..do not give anything BT says a second thought. He is an intellectual minnow.

On that subject. ..the football commentary is just aweful every game. The commentators are poor and I suspect the audience they target leave a lot to be desired.....present company excepted of course

And the narrative is to promote the start up teams at the expense of historic clubs no matter what.
Generally I turn off that sound for our games.
