yeah allot of peps i talked to were split but split on tuck being a sub and nahas playing and nahas playing and no debut for donut
we missed a perfect opportunity to blood another youngster

I wish him all the best, and I think he's done pretty well. I've said it before, I think he played his role well helping to get us fro terrible to OK, but found wanting now we've lifted from OK to good, and definately not good enough to help get us from good to the best. I Liked him, we got him cheap, he was good for the overall cause. I was actually hoping he might lift and maybe play a cameo or 2 as a depth player if we got some injuries this season, today showed thats not gunna happen. But you can't win them all, White and McGuane have performed well above expectations. I'm actually a bit bewildered as to what happened to his kicking, it was never great, but its now terrible.

Thanks Robbie, you did pretty well. 100 goals at the top level, nobody can take them off him.

Just to put a face on the Richmond Player a lot of people on here are trashing:

Robin Nahas 176cm 75kg
83 games and 100 goals

What did he do to deserve the venom?

Its not really vitriol Chiang Mai.

Its more the fact that most Richmond supporters know Nahas is not up to it and a younger player should have been tried (eg McDonough).

By booing, not that I heard any and not that I condone it, maybe there were one or two boos at another section of the MCG, I dont know.

Anyway if some Richmond supporters did boo I dont have a problem with that.

They are sending a message to the coaching staff that they are not happy with the decision to play him.

agree. Robbie served us well cheaply for a role we needed. Richmond has passed him by and he couldn't adapt. His defensive efforts are non existent. Was kinda sad but true to see his efforts today. Backed up why he was not in favour from round 1 and he knew it. Thanks for everything in your time at tigerland robbie and best wishes for the future.

Not true. Thats hindsight talking. A lot of supporters might have questioned the selection, but not many would have thought it was crazy or anything. I could see the sense in it, see how he goes in the lead up to finals, you can't have too many match fit experienced players. Didn't work out. Doesn't make the coaching staff suddenly dumb and a few drinkers in the stands suddenly geniuses.

I get the impression that since he realised he is not in the first 22 he has lost his confidence and has known every touch was for his career and has been a deer in the headlights. He has had poor body language at the games I have seen in him this year. No one likes to see one of your own with their heads down.

Amazing how fast his form dropped off. In the preseason game at Wang v the peptiders he was great, but nothing since and even worse his sulking has been obvious for all to see. Hopefully the coaches realise they missed an opportunity with McDonough today.

No-one booed him where i was, and I don't think anyone cares that much to boo him. I've always enjoyed his play and endeavour and speed, and always wished he would get better. But, like too many RFC players, what you see in the first game is what you see in the last. He was too easily pushed off the ball, too rushed and frantic when he got it, and predictably made the second worst choice when he had to get it on. He's had a good AFL career at this club and should be pleased. But the AFL is a cruel beast, and he is out and gone, and would be better placed for a future at another place.

He can be proud to have gone as far as he has, today may have been his last game.
It's a shame he isn't a few kilos heavier as he would be able to make those missed tackles stick.

We have to field two teams next year. Where do we get these extra players from? I don't really think he's in our best 22 any more, but definitely in our top 44.

I would think that if a decent trade came along for Robbie, we'd take it.

But I am not sure we will delist him. Small forward is not a position we have a lot of depth at. I can see Robbie staying next year to provide depth unless we draft a very good small forward, or entice one from another club.

I think he might go for the simple reason that 3 players (I think) have to be delisted each season.

Reckon he would have some currency, even if it's just a pick upgrade.

Zero... No one would trade for him., maybe Collins for him
Yesterday proved that was the standard of football we put up for 5 years.
No left foot, going to ground, kicking to the opposition.
He has done well lasting this long.

I am surprised about these booing comments. Didn't hear anything of the sort but I wasn't anywhere near zips yesterday.
