As is the case at this stage of the year it is time to reflect. i started thinking about who has been the most improved player. It became a very hard question to answer, most players went backward this year. i did come up with a few that i do think improved. For the ones that are going to say where is Nahas? He's a 1st year player i only chose 2nd year and older.

If anyone can think of any other player they think has improved let me know..

Has to be Collins.

would have put Tambling in but his form dropped away after having a solid 2 months.. Still needs the consistancy. Jackson i was umming about but again he still played a run with roll all year. He just happened to get the ball a bit more..

I would say the following players improved:

Tambling
Edwards
Jackson

New players to have come in and shown glimpes of AFL ability:

Nahas
Collins
Post
Vickery
Rance (though I am far less convinced now than I was 12 months ago funnily)

That is a sorry looking list. Tambling post hypnosis for mine - although he needs to book in for another session.

Agree with that. Wasn't till after Wallace leave did Tambling and Edwards pick up.
Also nice work by Nahas, didn't think he would make an impact.

Edwards really impressed in the last month of the season, and can see him establishing himself as a solid small defender for years to come.

when he builds up to be about the size of Stephen Baker he may be o.k

Of that list I'd have to say Collins, went from no games to playing and managed to impress a few people in the process.
