Where did you get the info, shamekha?

Don't know where Sham got it from, but it was one of the tweets posted on the AFL trade week site. Should be legit on that site I would imagine.

i wonder if it will be on a thursday night again? it has been on thursday the last couple of years coz ch 10 needed saturday afternoon clear to allow them to broadcast the grand prix. that won't be a problem next year. lets hope it's on a friday night.

actually i'm pretty sure we were the home team in 2009 and 2010. carlton might well be the home team again in 2012.

Gillan McLoughlin confirmed it today

What a shame. Carlton will be even stronger in 2012. A few early wins against easier teams would see us fill the G against Carlton in a later round anyway. Don’t understand the value in playing Carlton 1st up while we're still where we're at.

Pretty sure the AFL doesn't schedule the draft with the goal of allowing Richmond a few easy wins before they meet the tougher teams. There will be 80 000 people there as usual, good money for the club.

We were up at 3/4 time this year. Not sure why people have already written us off.
