I see both sides of the argument, but I reckon you are a ways of on this one. I must admit I do find it hilarious when certain fans whip out the old adage of coaches votes or B&F's as some sort of yardstick to counter an opinion, its not quite as funny as dumb hate though.

If Jacko was so bad then why is he still getting games? Where are kids or other senior players playing well enough to push Jacko out? Face it Jacko is better than at least 25 other players on our list... so he gets a spot. Pretty easy really !

No I'll happily own it, I find some of their lyrics interesting, but ultimately they're just a band whose music I enjoy, like one of my other favourites, Bad Brains - google them. I'm sure you've also heard of leftist anarcho-punks Discharge, another band I like, but I also like some Skrewdriver too. So what?

Yes I saw that tour as well.(think they've only been out here once.) I Against I & Rock for Light are their best albums IMO. Skrewdriver started out as an apolitical rock n roll/ Oi! Punk band playing Stones & Who covers but yes, they did eventually become probably the figurehead band of the whole Rock against Communism(RAC) Punk movement that was associated with "far-right" politics and more commonly known as the "Skinhead" movement.

Actually, my apologies, I've never seen them out here now that I remember - only in the States, pretty sure they were supposed to come out a few years ago but cancelled.

I did see PIL back in the early 90's - in a dive in Blacktown, Sydney of all places, John Lydon threatened to end the show about two songs in because everyone was spitting at him.

EDIT: Actually it was '89 and at Selinas, Sydney - the band I saw at Blacktown was that godawful Danish glam Metal band D.A.D aka Disneyland After Dark.
