I can't believe how late these tickets are going on sale, talk about leaving it to the last minute (and we wonder why crowds are down).

1 day before the game!! Who is running this show? They've known this game is happening for 2 months, but they sell tickets 1 day before!

What a *smile* show.

We wouldnt need to stagger the on sale dates if stadiums were back to 100% capacity.

No way I could book flights and accommodation for these games with one days notice of a ticket - maybe thats their sneaky way to stop people moving around to much.

They are also making it difficult with the floating fixture. Not knowing what days we are playing future games interstate. Makes it more difficult to plan.

FOR AFL MEMBERS:

Heading into Round 5 of the 2021 Toyota AFL Premiership Season, with crowds now at 75% capacity at the MCG and Marvel Stadium, the on-sale priority system has been removed.

Instead, in line with previous seasons, all AFL Members regardless of their nominated club of support, will have access to reserved seating from the same time – 10am AEST on the Tuesday of each round.

More information can be found below or on our FAQ page.

Interesting, just received this email, regarding a trial for AFL MEMBERS (not Richmond games thankfully) but AFL doing this to get back to 100% capacity.
The AFL is aiming for 100% capacity for ANZAC DAY matches.

Thursday night games suck, even worse when at Chernobyl as I have to get to Spencer St and my train only goes to Flinders St. Add an early start to this and it is a mess.
