Given we've been talking about Cogs and how he was robbed of a very promising career by injuries, I wondered if people could spare a thought for poor Max Bailey.

Appears to have done another knee today from all accounts (not sure if it's a third ACL).
So many careers decimated by injury to some pretty promising players. I know there's a few people who rated Max a decent ruckman around here, and had suggested even trying to trade for him.

I don't really care if he's a hawk or not, seeing kids cut down with injuries is just a crap thing for the game in general, but in particular for the players involved and their families.

Not getting tv where I am. All I've heard is he's gone down with this third knee. So much for listening to radio journo's.

Geez thats sh!thouse luck for the kid.

Sounds like he may have dodgy ACLs some are prone to these injuries Lee Walker was a great example did his knees 3 times or somthing also.

Hopefully its not an ACL for the kid if it is he should consider retiring for his own benefit long term.

Havent seen much of him but apparantly can play a bit.

YOu wonder how they cope mentally. One minute their on top of the world with their dream job since childhood and their lives set up financially then through no fault of their own, it's all over. I hope the kid gets through, but it doesn't look good.

I thought he looked very promising against us. I bet Clarkson is regretting the decision of bringing him back for only a few games. With that history, he should have let the kid go through a full pre season before returning next year.
