I've had a couple of e-mails and messages from people who have decided to go away from PRE for a while.....they find the negativity and personal abuse has reached an untolerable stage. A couple also don't like posting because they feel they are shot down in flames as soon as they express an opinion.

I doubt there are any of the coaches or players posting on here although some people seem to think they are experts and everyone should agree with their opinions.

There has been too much personal abuse towards others lately. It's not acceptable to call other people morons etc.

Any further personal abuse will be deleted.

Good call Rosy.  Some posters take it as a personal insult if you don't agree with them.

Maybe you should include a warning on the home page:

Come on everyone, we don't all have to agree on all subjects (it'd be a bloody boring site if we did), but there's no need to make personal attacks or to take it personally if someone disagrees with you.

If we treat each other (and those employed by the club, for that matter) with respect, we will keep this site the fantastic place it is.

Firstly I hadn't taken a lot of notice of the threads it was happening in.

Secondly I posted this today because of complaints I'd received.

The recent threads have been a bit disheartening to read and I haven't been bothered to get caught up in the vitriol. Hopefully everyone will just calm down a bit, we'll win a few more games this year, and next year will be really something to look forward to, whatever happens.

Not really om..imo i think the willing to wait club is growing expnentially, and i have joined that group also. I will wait and see what pans out.

PRE esed to be a fun place but it has definitely gone downhill lately, but I am sure it is just a small hiccup in the long and successful life of this site.

After all it is only a game ;D
