It's been a club effort, from first ditching Coburg and getting our own VFL team, to getting good VFL players surrounding our young Tiger cubs while they do their apprenticeship.

Fly is also central to that as a teacher of young recruits at VFL level and a conduit on the bench during seniors matches.

Signed for two more years earlier this year I believe.

The resurfacing and reconfiguration of Punt Rd oval has been of enormous benefit to both sides too.

It’s Unbelievable to think we were properly the worse at developing kids to turning it around to become the best.
McRae is A1 in developing kids.
I would him have as most important person under Hardwick and that includes Carcella and Leppa.

Macrae looks a very good coach and communicator, but a lot of other factors in play. No 1, the completely changed game style and messaging across AFL and VFL in 2017, coaching restructure and as others said the Richmond VFL brand establishing and ground surface redevelopment.

That said, Craig has been an important part of our success at both levels.
