What an amazing ride we have been on all year following our mighty Tiges. Plenty of hurdles throughout, but our boys kept hanging in there, getting on a roll when it mattered and claiming a top 4 spot. To lose the first final, but bounce back to beat the Saints gave us a shot at Port on their home deck. Our boys still believed and pulled off a memorable win to make our third Grand Final in four years. It felt like it was us against the world in the lead up to the GF, whether it be in the media or work colleagues telling me they were hoping Geelong would win.

At half time, I reminded my son that this was very similar to the 2019 Prelim when we were 21 points down, eventually winning by 19 points. Well the second half was classic, prototype Richmond surge footy, so similar to the 2019 Prelim. Insane pressure at the opposition player and the footy that lead to the Cats succumbing to our heat. Dusty cemented his place as my GOAT player I have ever seen. His performances in big games and finals is just mind blowing. We dominated the second half (9.7 to 2.3) and that's after losing Tigger early and Bachar popping a calf in the first quarter also.

To share this Tiger era with my family is incredibly special. Something else that I love is getting onto PRE every day and getting my Tiger fix. Reading all of the posts is great, whilst getting a sense of people's thoughts and personalities is so entertaining. Waking up this morning after a few hours sleep and browsing PRE following a Tigers Premiership is just the best way to start the day. Enjoy this super special time everyone and keep up the great Tiger passion. Go you mighty Tigers!

When the Cats skipped out to 20 odd points, the old conditioned instincts kicked in. "Were gone" I muttered under my breath. Then in stepped The Tiger King. What a player. Congrats Tigers. Revel in these heady days.
