So far Jack, KB and Tommy have been inducted as Immortals into the Tigers' Hall of Fame.

Who should be next?

My view is Royce - in fact, I think Royce should have been first, together with Jack.  Greatness is measured by impact and without Royce one thing is certain - we wouldn't have won 4 flags between 1967 and 1974.

And that is not to in any way deny the greatness of KB and Tommy.  Its just elevating the way we should remember Royce.

Who else!

Quick!  Kick it to me.  They've only got 3 on me, my knee's stuffed and I've just come on.  And its the start of the 3rd quarter of the Prelim and the Pies are up by 7.

TOMMY (from the box):  KICKITTOROYCE!!!

Hi there.
For your reference I am of the impression an immortal is only inducted when there is 10 per cent of the overall number in the hall of fame.

Therefore a 4th immortal will only be inducted once they hit 40 members.
I think it is currently in the early thirties.

I think in the poll you should consider Roy Wright (2 Brownlow Medals / 4 Best and Fairest)  and Vic Thorp

I used to live in punt road opposite "our" ground, and growing up Roy Wright was one of my idols, along with Jack Dyer, and i think Roy should be on the short list for immortal.

I'd go along with Roy Wright - one of my all-time favourites and 2 Brownlows!

Didn't see a lot of Skinny as a player though I did see him pull on the boots for the Twos when I was about Curtiger's age.  I am well aware of his playing record, though, and think he should be added.

And Roycey-baby - what more can I say.  Such a pity they didn't have the skills then for repairing dodgy knees, etc, and the luxury of 4 interchanges.

Then St Francis.

Yep, definitely Wrighty!

There should be NO argument here.  Royce Hart IS and WAS the greatest player to have ever put on a Richmond guernsey.  You ask anyone who was around during the 67 to 76 era and they will vouch for it with a sparkle in their eye.

Royce Hart is the greatest post-war player to pull on the boots and was a great leader and won matches off his own boot. (Neither did EJ win Brownlows - but - they were both legends,)

Also hows the bloke who showed us how to play finals and in fact Captain-Coached our first 2 ever flags in Danny Minough. We were ripped off for another a few years later when the leage held all the finals, bar the big one - then gave it to Essendon despite us beating them a week earlier (They ran out of money)

Agree with Wright, Titus and Thorp as valid candidates but surely Royce is clearly above and beyond in terms of the impact he had on the club. There was that special aura he had that came from his ability to win games by himself in a flash. He was a fine leader, had courage, exquisite skills and was our best player in probably our best era. He is a champion of champions.

I don't think Brownlows themselves mean much in these sorts of discussions. I'm proud we've got a dual winner but I wouldn't want to elect our Hall of Famers on the basis of umpires opinions. (Liberatore and Dipper won Brownlows too!) :p

I think my Grandfather - Eric Zschech

Played over 100 games, played in the 1932 & 1934 premierships, was best on ground in the 1934 premiership and was nominated for team of the century.

All great Richmond players and eventually all will be inducted.. hopefully!!

Titus then Bourke then Hart, St Frances and Royce have plenty of time and can each wait another 2 years.
