Need help regarding spitting incident

Hi guys,

Doing a research project at TAFE for sport and me and my partner have decided to do the spitting incident involving Jared Robinson (name?) and Danny Frawley.

However, we are both struggling to find pics and video footage of the incident.

If anyone on here has footage or pics of the incident, would you mind putting up a link to the footage and pics in this thread?

I was talking to a former player's Mum the other day and she said she went to the footy to barrack for her son but could never barrack for Richmond. She'd hated us ever since KB was the victim of a spitters actions.

Can anyone give me any details about that?

Im not sure. But i was reading the Shane Crawford exposed book and he said he got spat on at games by Hawthorn fans before, i cant remember what year it was but i think it was the one where he had a back injury all year.

Exactly what kind of "research project" is this?

Some immature muppet who wasn't even a member decided to bignote himself and got himself captured on camera for all eternity.

If you're even considering this action as being representative of Richmond supporters then the whole premise of your "research project" is fraudulent.

Sorry, phoenix. I got onto one of my mates about the whereabouts of these photoes but no such luck. He said he didn't know...Obviously it wasn't him that made the picture the background of all the computers in room 320, then.

Not at all.

The project is on incidents where fans have interacted with officials in a negative way.
In no way, shape or form is this project designed to take the *smile* out of Richmond supporters.

Can't see how you can adequately address this topic without it turning into a pile of anecdotes (such as the referee in South Africa who pulled a gun on players).

Also, for every incident like Bryan Sheehan receiving a 3am death threat before the 1989 preliminary final there are many more which go unreported.

Might suggest going down to your local weekend junior sport and watching the parents.

Might I suggest your lecturer is lazy and/or thoughtless and has set you a topic which is impossible to adequately address.

Might I also suggest getting off your arse and going to the State Library to look at the newspaper coverage of the time on microfilm, as why any Richmond supporter would keep images or footage of this muppet is beyond me.
