A new thread for the new season, and LeBron is rumoured to be off to the mighty Miami Heat, along wit Chris Bosh. Will be announced shortly.

Easy way out for LeBron if he goes there. Can't be held in the same regard as MJ or Kobe if he goes there IMO. If he goes there I hope the Heat fail terribly.

Disappointed.

We won't see Lebron reach his lofty heights, same with Wade. They both will have to modify their games. Still going to need to sign a rebounder, a shooter (think Mike Miller will go to the Heat next) and a defender.

No excuses if they don't win the title.

They are no chance this season. They have like 4 guys on the roster right now and are already hitting the salary cap.......They have no MLE to use meaning they have to sign a good 9 players to NBA minimums.....They can't get it done with just those 3. Not this year.

Just cannot believe that Lebron choose the Heat over the Bulls.

Rose, Lebron, Deng, Boozer, Noah, Gibson, vs Bosh, Wade, Lebron and 8 Free Agents playing on the cheap.

The best theory is that Lebron never had a father figure in his life and in his documentary about his last year in high school you see someone who is searching for a sense of belonging. Wants to be a part of something great instead of building his own greatnees. Jordan would never play with Wade, he would have beat him and done everything in his power to beat him.

Happy to hear Durant has accepted a new contract (5 years) to stay with the Thunder.

"I never even thought of playing anywhere else."

Awesome player, awesome young team. Go Thunder!

IMO after this move Lebron's name shall never be mentioned in the same breath as Jordan's.

Jordan didn't leave Chicago to chase a title, he did everything he could to make his teammates better and dragged them to the finals, lebron gave up and decided to join a team of champs, lost a lot of my respect i can tell you.

I feel a bit the same. What a putdown to the team that gave him his first chance. "I'm leaving cause I want a title".

worst part about this from a neutral BB fan is that we will never ever see the best of 3 great franchise players. they will all play a role and probbaly win rings but we're being denied seeing all at their absolute best
