was talking to a workmate who is a member of the doggies.he mentioned that they have a members night where members are invited to the club to "chat" about the side and even air there thoughts about team selection for the upcoming match.
all the coachs are present.
im not sure if it a weekly thing however imo this would be a great idea for the RFC to act upon.
it would at the very least give the members an oppotunity to the reasons why player x isnt getting a game or is dropped or why a player is played in a certain position etc etc.

thoughts?

J2R, The Bulldogs have a quaint little supporter base capable of fitting into a community Hall. ;D
Can you imagine if they did the same thing at Richmond ATM? They would need to hire out the MCG, have security every 5 metres around the boundary and there would have to be a public ballot to see who gets to ask a question.

well under the current envoirment probally not a good idea ;D
as far as the night.perhaps a limit of 100 can attend.
an invitation on the members page on a 1st in best dressed method.

Richmond does have several members nights each year, usually at the Wantirna club.

true but thats for  players meet members etc.

No usually it's pretty fiery as it's an opportunity for members to question guys such as Miller and the coaches.
