McMahon for Ball?

It seems that Ball is going to be dropped again this week at the Saints and probably won't get a run during the finals. Given this he is going to be looking for a new challenge. Given he has some disposal deficits but gets his hands on it very often and is tough and courageus, would we consider this swap, no other players and no draft picks just a swap?

not the worst trade in the world but the fact that we would be bringing another bloke who struggles to kick over a jam tin to the club isnt really the line we want to take. as for the fact he is so gutsy, a leader and one of the hardest working blokes in the AFL i can only c it as a positive if it means offloading mcmuffin in a straight swap.

In a blink. Surely the saints aren't that stupid

agree with S.D.

ball is an elite midfielder that`s struggling for a game at a club that won 19 games in a row and their only loss was by 2 points.

i don`t think the issue is whether we would consider this,it`s if st.kilda would consider it (or be stupid enough to consider it, as S.D said),

injury troubled. thats why he cant kick.
I like him, but we shouldn't go for blokes that have known injury issues. If as the papers say we delist Cogs ( injury prone hard nut, questionable disposal) we then bring another ? not to smart me thinks.

luke ball and cogs scenario is different, luke ball has had OP and groin troubles but has never been a strong kick anyway. he def isnt in his final years and now after completing a full season without much injury trouble should be an improved plr next year. cogs has had 2 knee recos and hamstring trouble which hav been reoccuring and has probably been too crippled to improve enough to become a regular selection.

all that said i'd prefer us to chase matt mcguire before luke ball as he is a KPD which would hopefully improve our backline structure which is more important than another midfielder.

Hey maybe we can offer up Oakley-Nicholls for Riewoldt while we're at it?

Where do I sign??

While I'm at it, do you think the Saints would be interested in buying my Tigers Centenary jumper too?

Even if the ball is a chewed up old tennis ball with dog slobber all over it we would still be a mile in front.

Goose may be a KPD, but his leg was screwed up worse than Brown's, do you really want that scenario all over again?
