Can't even remember the quarter - maybe the 3rd?
From memory and from my spot overlooking the interchange bench - at one time we had a few blokes on the boundary ready to come on.
Two blokes came off and two ran on. But I seem to recall McIntosh also raced on and got about 5m onto the ground and then ran back off.
I thought we could have been pinged - but thankfully nothing happened.
Did anyone else here notice this? (Or perhaps I saw it wrong.)

Didn't notice it.

Does anyone think the powers to be will look at Cotch in the melee? The Bummer was winded, or at least put on a show of being winded. Nothing in it as far as I'm concerned, and it hasn't been mentioned much, but I wonder if the review panel will see it differently. I hope and think they won't.

I think they got a free for it instead of a centre bounce. not sure but there was a mix up.

1000 fine if anything.

I also enjoyed iVan welcoming Jab Watson to the ruck by giving him a nice roundarm to the midriff that took the wild out of Jabber

Didn't know what the rule was these days. Anyway - no harm done.

Yes, I think I saw it too. Couldn't see who it was, but I saw a Richmond player come on, then make a desperate lunge back to the interchange. Kept an eye on it for a few seconds to see if we were penalised, but no.

On first viewing I thought Cotch was going to be in strife, but when they replayed it was only on open palm that got Carlisle. Just must have got him in the right spot for him to go down like that.

Absolutely saw the same thing. Ran two or three metres on and did a quick u-turn. I don't know how it was missed.

I'm glad if it was missed. It's the biggest knee-jerk over-reaction rule in footy. Like swatting a fly with a house.

So it seems this one might have escaped notice - but what is the rule these days?
I worried we'd get pinged - but don't know what would happen.
But yeah - it used to be an awful over-reaction - and in this one last night it had absolutely no effect on the game.

But if it had been pinged - does anyone know for sure what the official penalty would have been?
Is it a free?
Is it a fine?
