Just looking at the draw, i would expect us to win all of our last 9 games. Then you can add, Essendon, Adelaide and the first Geelong as wins. that puts us on 15 wins and probably enough for top 4. Melbourne, Footscray, Brisbane away and west coast away are probably free hits where we’ll probably end up winning half of them. That would give us 17 wins and top 2. Perhaps we will drop 1 unexpected game like we did against Sydney... that'll improve our chances of finishing 3rd ;)

How fine are the lines?

I still can't fathom how we lost to Sydney on the MCG - this is the result that worries me more than the Port or Melbourne games.
Since Sydney beat us they have beaten Essendon by 3 points and lost to sides who were 15th at the time (one of which was Gold Coast!). Let all that sink in.

If we'd beaten Sydney and jagged the Port game (which we very nearly did), we'd be 5-1, third, and flying.

Sydney 2021 is our Hawforn loss of 2020. You look back and ask how the *smile* did that happen but early in the year we are off the pace and we come across a lowly club playing their GF. Swans looked good early but have quickly run out of puff

I keep forgetting to to this.

We are likely to need to win 10 of 13 games to make top 4. I'd really like to see us win 1 of Brisbane or West Coast away to make things a bit more comfortable, or else we're gonna have to win 8 out of 9 in the run home. This is achievable with our draw, but I think we’d all prefer a little more breathing space

Since 2018 it’s a richmond thing to hit our prime in July

get all the must wins and it’s 14 wins
Bris wce and GWS away are not easy trips despite our great record at the GABBA we don’t beat WCE and GWS away very often.

if we can beat GWS or Geelong as well
then we are set up

rounds 18 and 19
What a massive 8 days in our history

we all want to hit that 3rd place
Melbourne will succumb late

we are the only team to knock off one of the two front runners

I still think we will 10 from the next 12.
definitely conceding the WCE away game
Might lose to Geelong, or maybe not.
should beat Bris on the MCG.

the rest we should smash

With you all the way. Especially when we start getting some of our midfielders back.
