Why is the B&F on tonight?

Why is it on a tonight?
Does it cost too much to have it on a weekend.
It does not make it easy for fan to get along to it.

I would say it will help in max'in out the profit margin of the event.
 
It's hard to please everyone Tm.  Isn't the function usually held mid-week to a sell-out audience? I suspect cost is a consideration as well as venue availability.

I just saying for people like myself who are not from Melb it makes it hard to get to the B&F.
I sure it will be sold out without me but i just think it would be nice to give me the choice of going.

Um, there's kind of a lot of footy on the weekend at the moment. Important games too.

Pretty hard to sell hope to your members, then tell them early in the season you have booked the best and fairest for the second week of the finals!!
