I would have thought Robbie Nahas was under massive pressure going into this year to get another contract at the RFC. After showing some good signs in 2009 I thought he has his papers pre-stamped after a poor 2010.

I have really admired the way this Jockie sized footballer has managed to make himself into a valuable member of our team in 2011. He obviously knew his football life was on the line got fitter and willed himself to improve. I'm sure he is now going to be recontracted.

Which RFC footballer who due to an existing contract will be on the the list 2012 is a candidate to replicate Nahas' 2011 turnaround and grab a life jacket and choose to swim not sink?

Candidates under pressure.

Contracted - McGuane, White, Connors, Browne
Unsure - Thursfield? Gourdis? Farmer?
Out of contract - Morton, Nason, Gus, O'reilly, Westhoff, Webberley, Hicks, Jakobi, Contin

Of these I think we are more likely to see a turnaround from someone who has a least shown glimpses maybe White or Webberley & Morton if we retain either of them.

Agreed but needs to get fit and stay fit. Possibly needs to be moved to a wing or forward. Doesn't defend well enough for me.
yep , whether he will or not is the question but he has the capability of doing it .

I have always thought he is a good forward option with stints in the midfield .

Nahas was gone if he wasn't contracted. Thank good the contract saved him. 29 goals this year is a great return.

Connors for me has the most improvement in him, I expect a big year in 2012.
I hope he's with us.

i hope we keep morton even if he isnt contracted. Give him a big rev up and tell him what hes playing for. Could be a gun winger/ HFF. Just needs to apply himself. Has the ability to get 20 plus possies and a couple per game. Just needs to be sat down and told its his last chance. Not sure what his personal issues were this year but usually personal issues derail a whole year, He came back the last few weeks and did ok. Big preseason, No personal issues = Big Year and my smokey for supercoach! good luck Mitch

Defends better than Houli. Got my doubts that Dan will ne around next year though.

Browne &/or Contin as most improved for mine.
